Ruby-crowned Kinglet
Occurred the most disproportionately in hexagons with annual
precipitation of 559-1511 mm, especially if mixed conifer forest
(Northeast Oregon) present. Also occurred where somewhat less
annual precipitation (431-559 mm) if canyon grassland and shrubland
present in the hexagon. The logistic regression analysis showed
positive or negative association with mixed conifer forest (Northeast
Oregon), June maximum temperature (hex. min.), and-to a lesser
degree-topographic variation and the extent of public land.
